for the 2025 season?
It’s fast. It’s easy.
it’s the law.

It's the law.
Snowmobiles operated on public land or trails in Colorado must be registered with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
It funds our trails and riding zones
These registrations fund trail grooming, trail maintenance, construction, trailheads, parking areas, trail signs and maps. It also funds law enforcement personnel to identify and return stolen vehicles. it also includes a fee to cover any search and rescue costs.
Many different groups benefit from snowmobile registration, including:
Snowmobile owners and operators;
Towns and counties that want to attract snowmobile users to enhance their local economies; and
The general public; educated snowmobile enthusiasts are more conscientious and better stewards of the land.
-
As of 2024, registration fees are $30.25
-
You must register your sled each year. You will receive a registration sticker with the year on it that must be placed on your sled.
-
In every state you will operate a snowmobile on public lands it needs to have an OHV registration for that state. If you only plan to ride in Colorado - you only need to register your sled in Colorado.
